Mick Jagger defined her his “ideal woman” and Bob Dylan dedicated a poem to her: French singer Françoise Hardy, with her androgynous girl-next-door look and sensual voice, is considered one of the greatest fashion icons of the 60s.
As a leading figure of the yé-yé movement, Hardy became “France’s most exportable female singing star” and appeared in several movies. Her style is an inspiration for many fashion designers such as Paco Rabanne, Alexa Chung and currently creative director of Louis Vuitton.
We’d like to pay tribute to this wonderful lady with her best Beauty Moments in the 60s. Take inspiration for your perfect French style!
SO much style inspiration – that Paco Rabanne dress is stunning!
