French screen icon Catherine Deneuve has been hospitalized in Paris after a sudden illness overnight, probably due to overwork.
Newspaper Le Parisien, which first broke the news, said Deneuve, 76, was in a “serious state” and in need of “extensive examinations,” the paper reported. But a source told Variety that Deneuve’s condition was not alarming. Italian news agency ANSA quoted a source saying the actress was suffering from “fatigue.”
