The British royal family will meet Monday to discuss the future of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the couple announced this week they would dismiss their roles as senior members of the royal family, seek financial independence and split their time between Britain and North America.

Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry will attend the meeting at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
Prince William has expressed his “sadness” about his brother’s controversial decision and claimed that the royal family was no longer “a team”.

“I’ve put my arm around my brother all our lives and I can’t do that any more; we’re separate entities.”
Said William.
