Nine years after the huge success of the Twilight film series, Kristen Stewart is reflecting on her experiences on set, in particular on her love affair (lasted 4 years) with her colleague Robert Pattinson.
Chosen for the main role of Bella Cullen, Kristen says that Robert Pattinson was the perfect choice as her other half on the screen.
“It was so clear we worked well on screen,” the actress said. “He had an intellectual approach that was combined with ‘I don’t give a f–k about this, but I’m going to make this sing.’ And I was, like, ‘Ugh, same.'”
Kristen and Robert’s love story started in mid-2009, about a year after the first movie was released. After four years together, the pair broke up in May 2013. “Whatever, we were young and stupid and, not to say that we made it so much better,” Kristen said of their undeniable chemistry, “but that’s what [the film] needed, and that’s what anybody playing those parts needed to feel.”
