Princess Charlene of Monaco is going through a very tough time.
She returned to Monaco only 11 days ago. Infact, she was hospitalized in a South African hospital, due to an ENT infection. She recently entered a treatment facility “allowing her time to recover from a state of profound general fatigue,” said the royal palace.
All her family is, of course, concerned: her husband, Prince Albert, and their adorable six-year-old twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques.
The twins recently appeared with their dad on the balcony of the Royal house and held “We miss you mommy” and “We love you mommy”.
In July, Paris Match speculated that Charlene and Albert’s unhappy marriage might have something to do with the Charlene’s long absence. The reporter added that Charlene was already known to spend her time away from Albert at homes in Corsica and Provence before her illness.
On Friday, Albert said TP People that Charlene’s health issues have nothing to do with rumors he was unfaithful to her.
“I’m probably going to say this several times, but this has nothing to do with our relationship. I want to make that very clear. These are not problems within our relationship. Not with the relationship between a husband and wife. It’s of a different nature.”
Albert added that the “extreme fatigue” and poor diet ultimately led to her hospitalization.
“She hadn’t slept well in a number of days and she wasn’t eating at all well. She has lost a lot of weight, which made her vulnerable to other potential ailments”. He added: “A cold or the flu or God help us, COVID.”
Other details about Charlene’s health would be communicated before the holidays.
