Madonna is a real phenomenon. She defined the sound of a generation, she changed nusic forever and she is considered one of the most influential artists of her time.
Despite her incredible success, even the Queen of Pop had to start from the very beginning. She totally conquered her success, through a combination of hard work and talent. And now, the whole world knows her!
When she was young, she was good at singing, but her greatest passion was dancing. She took many dancing classes since she was very young. When she was just a teenager, she already was one of the best dancers in her school and she was also a straight-A student.
After graduating, she moved to New York from Michigan in 1978. She was just 19, she had money and no job. She told the taxi driver: “Take me to the center of everything,” and he dropped her off at Times Square. “I felt like I plugged my finger into an electric socket,” she said once.

Today, she’s the queen of pop, but is hasn’t always been that way. As she claimed in an interview, Madonna revealed that before she made it in music, she worked at a Dunkin’ Donuts. Unfortunately, she was fired after about a week because her employers thought she wasn’t taking the job for real. “I was playing with the gelatin injection machine”, she admitted.
