Olivia Wilde received legal papers from her ex-fiancé and father of her children, Jason Sudeikis, right in the middle of her presentation about upcoming psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling to an auditorium full of people at CinemaCon.
The actress was in midst of a presentation when she was handed a mysterious envelope, which the audience thought of as an elaborate joke. Then it turned out to be legal papers from her ex-partner Jason Sudeikis.
Wilde was introducing a footage from her upcoming movie ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ at CinemaCon. In that very moment she was interrupted and she asked, “This is for me, right?”

A person gave her an envelope. As she opened the envelope marked ‘personal and confidential’, Wilde said. “Very mysterious. I’m going to open it now.” She glanced at the contents and said, “Is this a script? OK, got it. Thank you,” and returned to her presentation without missing a beat.
The legal papers were related to the jurisdiction of Jason and Olivia’s son Otis, 8, and daughter Daisy, 5.
“Papers were drawn up to establish jurisdiction relating to the children of Ms. Wilde and Mr. Sudeikis”, saidea source.
“Mr. Sudeikis had no prior knowledge of the time or place that the envelope would have been delivered as this would solely be up to the process service company involved and he would never condone her being served in such an inappropriate manner.” Further added the source.
In November 2020 Olivia and Jason had ended their seven-year engagement after almost 10 years together.
Back in July 2021, a source revealed that Jason and Olivia’s relationship as co-parents is “a work in progress,” adding that “they are figuring it out as they go.”
“She wants to make co-parenting work and will do what it takes,” the second source said of Olivia. “She tries just keep the peace. She knows she is a great mom and will always do what’s best for her kids.”
