The daughter of late actress Olivia Newton-John is remembering the special memories she shared with her mother, Olivia Newton-John.
On Monday, Chloe Lattanzi posted a series of sweet photos with herself and the Grease star, beginning with a throwback of Lattanzi adorably grabbing her mother’s face for a kiss, and ending with selfies and photos of the mother-daughter duo throughout the years.
Lattanzi’s touching post comes hours after Newton-John’s death was announced. She was 73.
In May 2017, the four-time Grammy winner shared that she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that had spread to her back.
In an interview with PEOPLE in February 2021, Newton-John told PEOPLE how Lattanzi being by her side helped her during her tough journey.
“I’m so lucky to still be doing all these things,” Newton-John said of attending Lattanzi’s wedding and releasing a single with her called “Window in the Wall” at the time. “I don’t think I imagined living this long! I feel very blessed.”

The actress added that she knew very early on that her daughter (from her marriage to ex-husband Matt Lattanzi) would follow in her musical footsteps.
“She would sing and perform and knew the words to everything on the radio and every record,” Newton-John said. “And then she went through a shy period and didn’t want to do it as much. When she was about 13, we made a TV movie together and she sang ‘At Last,’ which is a classic Etta James song. It was so moving, and I went, ‘Oh boy, she has it.’ “
