Angelina Jolie claimed her ex-husband Brad Pitt poured beer on her, injured her, and fought with son Maddox in 2016.
After initial speculation about the unnamed plaintiff in the suit, it has now been confirmed that the The Maleficent actress, 47, was the one who filed it in April, according to Puck News’ Eriq Gardner.
The suit asked for the FBI to hand over documents related to the investigation into the actor, 58, after Jolie claimed that he ‘physically and verbally assaulted’ her and their children while flying on a private plane.
The FBI had cleared Pitt of any wrongdoing in the incident, which happened during a private jet flight, falling under the jurisdiction of the federal government.
Days after, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt and asked for full custody of their kids.
According to the lawsuit, Pitt allegedly put his hands on Jolie and poured beer on her during the flight.

Pitt was said to be drinking and had taken Jolie to the back of the plane, grabbed her shoulders and shook her while yelling, ‘You’re f*****g up this family.’
It was the same flight where Jolie reportedly sustained injuries from a physical altercation and gave an agent ‘a photo of her elbow in an attempt to corroborate this.’
This was also the flight where Pitt allegedly put his hands on the couple’s oldest son, Maddox, then 15, with Jolie claiming that he struck him – something the actor has denied.
