Lindsey Vonn looked stunning as she arrived at the 56th Annual Gold Medal Awards gala in New York Thursday night.
The Olympian, 38, displayed her toned athlete’s body in a garnet colored one shoulder dress with an asymmetrical pleated skirt.
The downhill ski champ showed off looked lithe in a pair of black high heels and styled her long flaxen locks straight.
The gold medalist kept her jewelry minimal, choosing a multi-toned bracelet and simple earrings.
Lindsey was at the gala to present her fellow Olympian, Shaun White, 36, with a lifetime achievement award. The three-time gold medalist retired after his final competition at the Winter Olympics earlier this year.
On social media, the snowboarder wrote, ‘What an honor to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Gold Medal gala!!! I have to say I’m shook.’
Lindsey, who retired in 2019, told E! News, that she’s still adjusting to her-post competition life.
‘This is a very hard time of year for me because the first races are happening and it always feels really weird to me that I’m not actually on a slope right now,’ she explained.
‘But I am adapting to life after competition. I am still challenging myself in new ways, but there’s definitely nothing like racing down an icy mountain at 85 miles an hour. And there never be anything like it, so I’ll just try to get my kicks wherever I can.’
