Madonna Spotted in NYC Just a Day Before Hospitalization — PHOTOS

Madonna was captured on camera roaming the streets of New York City in sportswear just a day before her hospitalization.

The 64-year-old artist was seen in photographs taken on Friday, donning black sweatpants adorned with floral patterns, a black long-sleeved shirt, and a sweater tied around her waist. Completing her ensemble, she wore a black cap, black sunglasses, and white and red Nike athletic shoes.

Despite her subsequent admission to the hospital for a “serious bacterial infection,” the images (YOU CAN FIND THEM HERE) show Madonna standing tall and in high spirits, with no apparent signs of illness, as she gazes into the distance with her hands clasped together.

Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, took to his Instagram account on Wednesday to announce that the iconic singer had been hospitalized on Saturday due to a severe bacterial infection, resulting in a several-day stay in the ICU.

In his post, Oseary also informed fans that Madonna’s work commitments, including her highly anticipated tour scheduled to begin next month, would need to be put on hold. He assured them that more details would be shared soon, including a new start date for the tour and rescheduled shows, while expressing confidence in Madonna’s full recovery.

Her current conditions

A source close to Madonna exclusively revealed to PEOPLE on Thursday that she had returned to her home in New York City and was feeling better, diligently following her doctor’s orders and resting.
